You should bring things to keep you comfortable for a fun day out on the water! For example; sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, food and beverages. Closed toe footwear is recommended for all guests.

* A microwave and refrigerator are available for your use during the trip

Island Girl is located on the Gulf Docks in Morehead City at 611 Evans Street.

We will need credit card information on file to reserve the date and time of your trip. This card will NOT be charged when you book and no down payment is required. On the day of your charter, please bring payment (cash or card) with you to pay for your trip.

*No cancel/no shows WILL be charged for half the price of the charter*

If the captain decides the weather is unsafe for your charter, he will contact you ahead of time to reschedule or cancel. If you choose to cancel or reschedule your reservation due to impending bad weather, we ask that you notify us prior to the day of your trip.

A typical gratuity is 15%-20% of the charter price. For full day trips, a minimum gratuity of $400 is recommended. Remember, the mate puts in a lot of work prior to the charter, during the charter and after the charter. Prior to the charter, the mate makes the rigs, gets the rods ready and gets the boat ready for the charterers. After the charter, the mate is responsible for cleaning the boat as well as all of the rods, reels and rigs.

Island Girl is US Coast Guard approved for up to 6 people

Fish cleaning is available at the dock for an additional fee. These services are not provided by Island Girl Charters.

No. The boat has a blanket license that will cover the charter.
